Children, Youth and Family Network is a 501c3 non-profit agency founded in 1999. As a partner in the San Diego County Children’s Mental Health Service Initiative, CYFN uses a Wraparound approach to discover the strengths and needs of the child/youth and family, and designs individualized services to fit.
Utilizing these Wraparound principles, we work with you and your family to identify people who will work together to understand your vision and goals for the future. This group of people is known as a Family Team. CYFN staff then work with traditional and non-traditional service providers to create bridges between you and the people on your team so that you can achieve the vision and goals for you and your family.
The CYFN Board of Directors includes ten agencies that have served San Diego County for over 20 years: Social Advocates for Youth, San Diego; North County Lifeline; Escondido Youth Encounter; Union of Pan Asian Communities; Regents of the University of California at San Diego; Children’s Hospital and Health Center; San Diego Youth & Community Services; Children’s Research Foundation; Mental Health Systems; and South Bay Community Services.
Our company employs over 50 employees, comprising of Family Team Coordinators and administrative staff. In addition to our main office, located in central San Diego, we have satellite offices in many communities throughout San Diego County
