System of Care

The system of care is child-centered and family-focused. The community-based, culturally-competent program provides children with complex social and emotional needs (SED), access to a comprehensive array of services that address the child's physical, emotional, social, and educational needs. Children with SED receive integrated and coordinated services with full participation of the families or caregivers of these children.

The system of care program promotes early identification and intervention of children with SED to ensure smooth transitions to the adult service system as they reach maturity. Children with SED receive services without regard to race, religion, national origin, sex, physical disability.
