Criteria for Participation
The criteria for a provider to participate in CYFN will vary based upon a several factors and circumstances. Such factors as geographic coverage, cultural competency with a niche community, language needs and access, not to mention the ability to provide a needed service all play an important part in the consideration of a new provider. Simply put, as it becomes apparent that our network cannot adequately address particular family needs, we begin a recruitment process for an appropriate provider.
In order to participate in CYFN, a provider must meet the minimum credentialing criteria as outlined in our credentialing standards. The services a provider renders must be clinically sound, culturally competent, individualized, family-centered and strengths-based. In addition, the provider must follow the contractual requirements and obligation as set forth in their executed Agreement for Services contract.
