As a Volunteer

CYFN offers exciting opportunities for people in San Diego County to get involved with fund-raising events, community outreach, specialized training for children, youth and their families. Some examples of areas of interest to our families are:

• Computer skills
• Martial arts
• Music
• Dance
• Job search
• Resume development
• Sports training and coaching
• Respite for care givers
• Recreation and family fun
• Community resource librarian

Current status: CYFN seeks volunteers for year-round activities and especially encourages family and youth who have direct experience with children and youth with complex social, emotional and physical needs. There is a special need for seasonal events e.g., holidays and summer.
